Pressure washing in Nîmes
Under the black and the green, your slabs kept their original colour — pressure washing finds it again in a few hours. Provided it is dosed: controlled pressure does the work, not maximum pressure.
Where it shines
Slabs, concrete, pavers: the jet's home turf
Pressure washing excels on hard supports: gravel-washed or concrete terraces, block paving, low walls, outdoor stairs, reconstituted-stone pool decks. The rotary nozzle lifts algae, lichen and pollution black evenly, without the stripes of a hand-held pencil jet.
The setting makes the difference: pressure and distance matched to the support, anti-moss pre-treatment on heavily colonised zones, rinsing that pushes residues towards the drains and not into the neighbour's yard. On sand-jointed pavers, re-sanding can be planned after drying.
A preventive anti-algae treatment applied to a clean surface extends the result by a season or two. For soft stone, old renders or anything that crumbles, we switch to soft blasting — the jet has no business there.
Pressure washing: the right questions
Done badly, yes — the classic mishap. We work at reduced pressure along cement joints, and plan the re-sanding of sand joints: the quote announces it upfront whenever needed.
