A serious wash does not stop at the glass: rebates and seals cleared of the deposits that run at the first rain, frames and handles wiped, outer sills scraped free of droppings and the sand the south wind lays down. Otherwise the clean pane re-soils itself from its own edges.
The technique is classic and shortcut-free: suitable detergent, applicator, squeegee in crossed passes, microfibre finish along the edges. Mirrors, shower screens and indoor glazing get the same standard — streak-free, checked in raking light.
