A handover clean is not a deep clean of an old home: it is exam preparation. Perfect glazing because the buyer will check the view, sparkling sanitary ware because they will open every tap, wiped cupboards because they will run a hand along every shelf.
New builds have their traps: protective films to remove without tearing fresh joints, joinery labels peeled cleanly, drilling dust in the recesses, silicone residues on the fittings. Every gesture respects the trade rules of the supports — a fresh acrylic joint is not to be rubbed.
